Stanley Schwartz



Stanley Schwartz a session musician, composer, arranger and musical director for many top artists including Melissa Manchester, Ringo Starr, Diana Ross, Robert Klein, and Billy Crystal. Stanley has produced commercials for many artists such as BB King, Dr. John, The Temptations, Ashford and Simpson and Leon Redbone to name a few. His music can also be heard on Nickelodeon and The Learning Channel. He’s played piano for Leon Redbone on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

ER: You want the funk, the honky tonk, the lyrical phrasing of a balladeer, call Stanley. A friend for years, Stanley has got the goods. First time I saw him, he was playing flute, sax and piano with Melissa Manchester in Central Park. I was in awe of his versatility.

Nowadays, Stanley has recorded two highly entertaining CD’s for children, “The View from the Back of the Car” and “Looking For The Perfect Bagel”. Lucky me...I got to sing on both albums and, most fun of all, I got to bark on the track “Bodie” -about his dog. It’s certainly one of my best vocals.
Stanley is musical family. My brother Bob, sister in law, Linda LoPresti
and their daughter, Lindsay have all played and sang on his
