Trombone on “Leave Me Alone”. Shinya suggested bringing Adrian over for the sweetening on the arrangement of this tune. A Berklee grad, like Shinya, he’s a serious cat.

ER: Adrian walked into the studio with two trombones: valve and slide. I wondered why in heck he brought the valve.
My arrangement called for some cornpone slide. When Shinya mentioned they both went to Berklee, I got it. He’s a jazzer...needs the valves for improv. Unexpected as that was, we got him laughing and he played exactly what was needed.
